When I type of simply explained, someone’s experience, how exactly does that compete with confirmed research involving many individuals or across numerous states or years. You realize, one individual’s viewpoint will not be since strong as that. There is not an obvious first step toward knowledge then you’re not explaining, you know, how you contribute to the conversation that’s already happening on this topic and that’s one of my favorite, favorite things about academic writing is that we’re constantly contributing to the conversations that are already happening in our field if you’re only using personal experience.
